My ancestor argonian Draco was the apprentice of Lucien and the Silencer of the Dark Brotherhood. And my character had the same reaction about the Purification.
-200 years later-
Draconus was the next argonian in the bloodline, become the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, killed Astrid (after she said that she made a very terrible decision)
Everyday summons Lucien just to hear him say "Now you're the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood.. Reminds me of a prestige I had a long time ago...So many long ago.."
It just reminds Draconus of his ancestor Draco.
